On Feb 17 (hey, if I was really cool I could link to the original story here but I dunno how to do that) I posted about a strange market research survey experience. Here’s the letter I received today from the ABC7 in SF, the sponsoring company or so I surmised.

Mr. Portigal-

I recieved a copy of your e-mail from our webmaster regarding the field
survey we recently conducted. I’ve forwarded your note to the company that
conducted the research for us for them to take action on your suggestions.
They are a fine company and, I assure you, they will take action.

I apologize for the tone of the interview and the conduct of the
interviewer. We truly appreciate anyone who participates in our surveys. And
though we’d like to know how each demographic group feels, in total, it’s
the collective reponse that we need.

Thank you very much for taking the time to give us your feedback. We value
your opinion and your viewing.
