Hewlett-Packard was eager to enter the home entertainment market with a new low-cost DVD projector.

We demonstrated a "works-like" prototype in people's homes, and explored how it would integrate with existing technology and impact their home entertainment rituals.

We outlined several product strategies based on key consumer expectations and needs, leading to the introduction of the HP Instant Cinema Projector and the later development of HP's Pavilion televisions.
