I received this promotion from a local plumber. In addition to the more typical description of services offered, he provides a striking summary of his personal brand attributes: insightful, mature, courteous. Those are desirable characteristics in any professional setting; they are provocative when highlighted by a plumber.

reminds me an ad I once saw for a plumbing company that explained their reps are clean and nice-smelling (or something to that effect) — I found their choice of brand attributes humorous until one time I found myself inviting a not-so-nice-smelling plumber from another company into my home and realized the importance of certain brand attributes.
Comment by Denise Lee Yohn 12.01.08 @ 4:13 pmReally like this catch onf brand attributes. A simple expectation created with three words that Timothy’s competitors might not think to use…or perhaps couldn’t use without being proved false.
Always benefit from what your lively observational skills discover.
And by the way, congrats on 7 years of sharing the wealth.
Keep creating…observations worth ruminating on,
Mike
