Attack of the Clones is totally cool. The word “cool” is the operative one – I can’t say it was a good movie but it was a really really cool movie. Definitely joyful and stimulating and entertaining to watch. And more. Some good moral ambiguity (not in the way that you might question your own morals, but in the simpler way of trying to understand who is good and bad in a movie series that is often pretty clear on that sort of thing), the most fantastic special effects ever, and lots of the neat, funny, cool little details that were at the core of the Star Wars pleasure for me all along.
